This wine cocktail was inspired by the French Dessert "Pears Helene", traditionally a poached pear served with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, crystallized violets and almonds.
- 1 Bottle Oak Creek Vineyards Chardonnay
- 3 Cups Pear Juice
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Lavender Syrup
- Pears sliced
- Chocolate melted
- Sliced almonds chopped
- Agave Nectar to taste
- Bamboo toothpicks
Mix Chardonnay, pear juice, cinnamon, and lavender syrup together in a pot or crockpot and allow to simmer.
If you prefer the cocktail to be sweeter add agave nectar to taste.
Thinly slice the pears, chop the almonds and melt the chocolate.
Dip the pear slices in the chocolate then the almonds. Allow the chocolate to harden and use the pear as garnish with a toothpick!
