Strawberry-Rhubarb Sangria

In celebration of National Rosé Day (June 12th), we've created a light and refreshing rosé sangria with strawberry and rhubarb simple syrup!

For Strawberry-Rhubarb Simple Syrup

  • 2 Stalks Rhubarb Chopped
  • 1 Cup Strawberries Quartered
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • Cup Water

For Sangria

  • 1 Bottle Oak Creek Vineyards Rosé Red Blend
  • 1/2 Cup Strawberry-Rhubarb Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
  • 7-Up
  • Strawberries and/or Oranges for garnish


Strawberry-Rhubarb Simple Syrup

  • Mix sugar and water into a pot and bring to a boil.
  • Add rhubarb and strawberries and allow to boil for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow mixture to come to room temperature.
  • Strain off fruit. You should end up with enough syrup for two batches of sangria!


  • Mix all ingredients into a pitcher, pour into a glass of ice and enjoy!
